EXPERIENCE
Aquent x Adobe Studio ACD/Copywriter
San Francisco, CA / 2023-2025
Working across Acrobat and Photoshop, I have written social videos, online ad units, consumer facing emails, and more as my teams tackled whatever copy needs arose within Adobe Studio. Distilling sometimes complicated topics into clear and compelling copy, I coordinated with stakeholders to ensure that the work was always on strategy and consistently captured the Adobe voice.
Freelance
2021-2023
As a freelance creative I produced television spots and helped pitch new business for multiple agencies including 72andSunny, Crispin Porter Bogusky, and Leo Burnett. Additionally, I worked directly with clients like fintech startup Alviere and diet app Noom to help their in-house creative departments craft campaigns.

At BSSP I created broadcast, print and online campaigns for clients including MINI, Priceline, Nokia, and SFMOMA. I also led new business pitches, mentored junior creatives and brought life to countless case studies, brand videos and award show entries.
BuderEngel & Friends
San Francisco, CA / 2003-2008
In my role as senior copywriter, I worked on clients ranging from Nvidia to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, as well as participating in new business pitches. Among other highlights, I created television spots for Disney, and an award-wining radio campaign for the San Francisco 49ers.
Leagas Delaney
San Francisco, CA / 2002-2003
In my first advertising agency experience I helped create campaigns for brands like Virgin Mobile, Northstar at Tahoe, Macys.com, and Sega.
The Onion
Madison, WI / 1999-2001
As a part-time contributor to “America’s Finest New Source” I wrote dumb things like “Heat wave forces Johnny Cash to don black shorts.“ I was paid twenty dollars for each headline that made it to publication. Adjusted for inflation that’s like twenty dollars.
